More on the constant raids

I feel as if I should put my two cents in here, seeing as I was part of the skype call for 'Operation Mario', even though I wasn't on that specific raid.

1. We jokingly came up witht the name 'Operation Mario' OOC, and were trying to come up with an actual RP name

2. If anyone left crops on the ground, their inventory was probably full, not that they weren't doing it for gain and just to destroy crops

3. In real life raids, (say, Vikings) if you got in the way you were most likely killed, and buildings were torched, along with crops stolen or torched (luckily Kiwike has griefing rules to preserve people's hard work, though I don't think crops are as important as people make them out to be)

4. While there may not be Towns or nations by the rules of the server, that doesn't necessarily mean a group of villages can't be considered, a, say, coalition of people with similar goals (while not necessarily on the level of a nation, it is similar to one)

That's all I can really think of at the moment, and it might be a bit poorly worded, or seem stupid seeing as I am still half-asleep, these are just things I wanted to say in defense of my allies actions.

There ARE towns. That's what WE call them. They don't necessarily have protection, but they are a group of people living in a community with a set of buildings. That is called a town, whether it has protection or not.
There ARE nations. That's what WE call them. They don't necessarily have an official alliance, but they are a group of towns near eachother who serve as eachothers' friends and allies. That is called a nation, whether it's official or not.

Ok. I can accept that you think there are towns. They are more of settlements or colonies, but towns is an acceptable term. However, we are not acting as a nation, just as allies. We share a lot with each other, but we do not actually have nation leaders yet, despite your stupid and idiotic idea that Coras is some slavedriver who controls us all. There've been no decisions handed down by a "nation." Yotta just said there are no nations. I've got other allies. Are they in my nation too?

Of course, when two nations' "leaders" disagree, they will wage "war." The war was and is inevitable, and it has happened. The only problem is that one side of the war has suddenly decided that they don't want to be part of it anymore, so they're BOMBING us with accusations of not RPing the fights. Which of course we are.

Oh right, your "You people are stupid, I'm gonna kill you" garbage. It goes entirely outside of your original reason for the raids. That RP is garbage, even Android said so. Nobody in the area mentioned declaring war outside of a regrettable OOC threat. Last time I checked, THAT DOESN'T MEAN SHIT. Your "You declared war on us" claim is garbage.

Don't like it? Move. We don't like you.

Oh shit, I'm scared. This guy said he doesn't like me. There's no reason for that to even be in there. All it does is show that you are likely using justification due to non-RP reasoning

Next time you reply, I hope for something more thought out than "They're together, they're obviously a nation."

All right, simmer down, guys. It's all in a game, no reason to be at each others' throats because of this. And that goes for everyone. Those who are against bowser, please use better RP reasoning. Telling them to move because you don't like them is not real RP by any stretch of the imagination. Those allied with bowser, please try to make the best of this situation by accepting their arguments for RP and trusting that this will be dealt with by the staff.

Finally, and this goes for everyone here as well: Your characters, not you, hate the opposing side. Flame wars over this only result in a more distant community. A community can be at war in-game and be friendly out-of-game.

Sorry, got a little fired up there. But, why should I just sit here and accept illegitimate RP and hope that the staff is just going to look at it and give more than a slap on the wrist. I've been seeing an awful lot of that.

And, although in-RP they're saying that this is a war on Coras because of his leadership skills, they're saying out of RP that it's all because they flat out don't like us. Guth said it now, Squiggley said it before. I've never been a fan of sitting here and taking it

Definetly, but there's not much you can do about it except to make sure that everything stays rp, which is what your'e trying to do. Goodjob!

What was the original reason for the raids?

What is the current reason for the raids?

How is Darkwood, the settlement you "claimed", yours now? Is it because you put signs up? Because last time I checked, I can't put a sign up and claim ownership of the place where I put it.
